I have always been interested in art. My studies began at age 13 and continue into the  present.  I majored in Fine Arts and received a B.F.A. from Ohio State University. My work focuses on abstract expressionism.  I create using acrylic paint and often use stencils and other materials. I have been influenced by many and often use music for my inspiration.  After receiving my degree, I continued my work on my own , working in studios in Miami, Orlando and Colorado.   In each city I have lived, I became a member of the local art guilds participating in many shows. I have had photographs and paintings in the Colorado Springs Art Guild Art and Photography Shows at Fireside Gallery, winning honorable mentions.  I have shown at The Roxborough Art Council juried show, The Pueblo Arts show at the High Vista Art Gallery,The Salida Juried Arts Show-"All Kinds of Lines" and was honored with 3rd place at the "Roll Art" show-Smokebrush Gallery. Before leaving, I was a  Docent for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center** which allowed me to meet accomplished artists, learn about many works of art  and share that knowledge with others. Through the Fine Arts Center I was selected to present at the 2015 Docent Symposium in San Francisco. I now live in Key Largo, Florida with my family; Keith and Layla again joining the Florida Keys Art Council. Examples of my work can be found in my gallery. Many of the paintings are available for sale and most all paintings and photographs are available as giclee on canvas or paper. I have recently added a line of bath products that I make. Thank you for visiting I hope you enjoy!
